“ This Golden Eggroll location is always full if you go in the day. And if you wait until the sun goes down it will be absolutely slammed. There's always people waiting but it's not because they're slow it's because the menu is quite good. Years ago I used to order Curry vegetables from this place. I'm guessing that it's no longer on the menu because when I asked for it it seemed to have been something off menu but they were still happy to oblige and made it for me. Even though as I said they're quite slammed and there are always people waiting I would advise you to order ahead if you can. Just a great little Chinese restaurant. ”

“ I am from NYC (Queens, born and raised) where you go to savor the planet through food, I’m not a local. The food is really good, filling, plentiful and inexpensive! I had the Singapore mei fun (curried rice noodles with shrimp, chicken, beef, egg and pork), my husband the sweet and sour shrimp with vegetable fried rice. Reminds me of my childhood when my bestie’s mom used to cook for us. The place has a big buffet which looked fresh and delicious. The place is clean, big, with plenty of room to seat with a large group. Nothing fancy but good and inexpensive food! ”

“ I must say I live in the North side of Jacksonville and Miss Kim she has been here for years I don't know how much you get back to the community but I know one thing this community has supported her because she stays packed all the time. I think what she has over most Chinese restaurant right now she does give you a good portion of food for the money still. Most Chinese places that went down on the sides of the plate but they prices went up, here Miss Kim her prices went up but her plates are still large But on the real I just enjoy the foods and when I do have time to sit and eat I enjoy the atmosphere. Like I said this place is always busy. The only thing when it comes to food is I do wish their barbecue ribs was a little bit more tastier I don't like the texture of the barbecue ribs. ”

The rice is always cooked perfectly with a great mix of fresh veggies, and those sweet biscuits? Straight-up addictive. Soft, warm, and just the right touch of sweetness. Recently, I decided to switch it up and tried the Mongolian beef and wow. It was absolutely amazing. Tender beef, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice and flavor. They nailed the balance between sweet and savory. The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food always tastes fresh. Easily one of the best local spots for Chinese food.
